During the first Test match being played against India, Ben Docket and Jack Croly have made many records while opening. Both these players made a lot of trouble to the Indian bowlers and in the second innings of the first Test match, they shared a valuable 188 runs for the first wicket. This is the biggest opening partnership in the fourth innings in Test cricket against Team India. Earlier, this record was named after West Indies veteran Alan Ray and Jeffre Stallmeyer. Both these players added 142* runs for the first wicket in the fourth innings against India in 1953.
Ben Docket and Jack Croly achieved many records
Apart from this, both these players have shared the most century opening in the Test since 2022. He has done this feat four times. There are four pairs in second place in this list. Abdullah Shafiq and Imam ul Haq of Pakistan, Dewon Conway and Tom Latham of New Zealand, Yashasvi Jaiswal of India and Rohit Sharma and Australia’s Usman Khwaja and David Warner. All of them have made a century partnership in the opening in the Test since 2022 three times. Apart from this, this is the best opening partnership since 2000. Both these players have made England stand up to a strong position while batting strongly. This match is being played in the leads.
Ben Docket has made another achievement in his name. English players have scored over 50 since December 2022. He has scored the highest score of 50 runs as an opener in international Test cricket. Not only this, Ben Docket and Jack Crolye have shared an opening of more than 50 runs against India six times.

In the fourth innings, Jack Crolye scored 65 runs while batting strongly. He held 7 opportunities in this innings. Apart from Jack Croly, Ben Docket has completed his century. In the first innings of the first Test match, the opener scored 62 runs. England have to score 371 runs to win the first Test and Jack Crolyse and Ben Docket have given a strong start to the host.
