In the final match of Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025, West Delhi Lions defeated Central Delhi Kings by 6 wickets to win the title. His captain Nitish Rana, who was the hero of West Delhi Lions victory in this thrilling final, gave his team a historic victory by playing an unbeaten 79 -run innings. Nitish Rana scored runs in every match of the playoffs, due to which his team managed to become champions for the first time.

In this final match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Central Delhi Kings batted first and scored a respectable score of 173 runs. In response, West Delhi Lions started a little bitter, but captain Nitish Rana kept one end. He played a brilliant innings of 79 unbeaten 79 off 49 balls, which included 4 fours and 7 sixes. His aggressive batting pushed the Central Delhi bowlers to the backfoot and West Delhi easily achieved the target.
Nitish Rana’s spectacular performance was not limited to the finals only. He impressed everyone with his batting throughout the playoffs. In the eliminator match, Nitish scored an explosive innings of 134 unbeaten 134 off 55 balls, in which he hit 15 sixes. This innings was one of the most memorable performances of DPL 2025.
