The first match of the two-match Youth Test series between the teams of India Under-19 and England Under-19 is being played at Kent County Cricket Ground, Becanham. In the first innings of this match, the Indian team saw amazing batting, due to which she managed to score 540 runs. Indian young players batted in the style of badgeball, for which England’s senior team is known. Due to which he caught everyone’s attention and cleared India’s intention in the beginning of this series.

After winning the toss, the Indian team came out to bat first and made their intentions clear from the first day itself. Opener Ayush Mhatre played a captaincy innings and gave the team a strong start by scoring 102 runs. Then the middle order batsmen also left no stone unturned to score runs. The Indian batsmen scored fast and harassed the England bowlers. In the first day’s game, India reached 450 runs and brought England under pressure. On the second day too, the Indian batsmen continued their form and took the score to 540 runs. During this, Team India hit 72 fours and 8 sixes.
Apart from captain Ayush Mhatre, Vihan Malhotra, Abhigyan Kundu, Rahul Kumar and RS Ambareesh hit half -centuries. Abhigyan Kundu contributed 90 runs, Rahul Kumar 85 runs, RS Ambareesh 70 runs and Vihan Malhotra contributed 67 runs. However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not do anything special in this innings and lost his wicket by scoring 14 runs. During this innings, the special thing is that the Indian team touched the 500 -run figure in just 100 overs. At the same time, took 112.5 overs to score 540 runs.

Prior to this series, 5 ODIs have also been played between the two teams. This series was named by the Indian Under-19 team 3-2. This series was very special for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He scored 30 or more runs in every match of this series with a century.
