The Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20 2025 eliminator match was played a thrilling match between South Delhi Superstar and West Delhi Lions. Delhi Lions defeated South Delhi Superstars by 7 wickets. However, during this match, there was also a lot of heat atmosphere. Due to which big action has been taken against 5 players. The players have been fined for violation of the code of conduct.

Big action on 5 players

This eliminator match of the Delhi Premier League was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, in which five players were taken action due to behavior and inappropriate gestures against the sportsman. During this match, there was a fierce fight between Nitish Rana and Digvesh Rathi, there was a fierce battle between the two players and the scuffle survived. During this, Nitish also showed Digvesh a bat. Due to which action was taken under the most serious allegation against South Delhi Superstar player Digvesh Rathi. He was fined 80% match fees for conduct against the spirit of sports under Article 2.2 (Level 2) of the Code of Conduct.

West Delhi Lions captain Nitish Rana also could not escape the violation of the code of conduct. They will have to pay a fine of 50% match fee for making indecent, aggressive or derogatory gestures under Article 2.6 (Level 1). Rana made such a gesture during the match which was going to spoil the sports environment.

This players also got punishment

Aman Bharti, another player from South Delhi Superstar, has also been processed under Article 2.3 (Level 1). He used objectionable language during the match, for which his 30% match fee is deducted. This violation was related to the abusive comments heard during the game. Similarly, Sumit Mathur of South Delhi Superstar was fined 50% match fee under Article 2.5 (Level 1). Mathur used a language, action or gesture that could instigate another player or instigate the aggressive reaction.

Krish Yadav of West Delhi Lions has been fined the heaviest. He has to pay a fine of 100% match fee under Article 2.3 (Level 2). Yadav behaved objectionable by pointing to the bat after abusing the player of the opposing team, which was considered a serious violation. The DPL Organizing Committee took action in view of the seriousness of all these matters and has warned the players to maintain the dignity of the game.
