IPL 2025 is now in its final stages. The final match of this season will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 3 June. For this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made special preparations. Special arrangements were made at the stadium for the Indian Ormed Force soldiers on the success of Operation Sindoor in the grand ceremony to be held before the final match. For this, BCCI had invited the officers of the three armies, but their expectations seem to be wandering. According to media reports, the head of the three armies has refused to attend the ceremony. Due to which this celebration will fade.
BCCI made special preparations
During the final match of this season, BCCI is planning to make special arrangements for the seating of one thousand soldiers, army officers and their families at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 3. However, according to media reports, there are reports that Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh’s Tripathi and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh have rejected the invitation from BCCI.
Earlier, the board’s secretary Devojit Sakia said a few days ago that the courage that our army showed during Operation Sindoor is commendable. We salute their passion. We have decided to dedicate the closing ceremony to be held during the final of this season to the Indian Armed Force. BCCI also made some special arrangements for this.
These programs will be in the finals
Bollywood singer Shankar Mahadevan will sing patriotic songs at the ceremony before the title match. Also, to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor, Narendra Modi Stadium will be decorated a lot. Earlier there was a plan to have some programs on the Indian Army, but now it is being changed.
Indian Army gave a befitting reply
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army had destroyed 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan by running Operation Sindoor. After this, Pakistan started attacking army bases with drones. The Indian Army responded to this and forced the Pakistani Army to kneel within four days. BCCI wanted to honor the Indian -Umed Force soldiers who showed indomitable courage against Pakistan.
