Singapore Open 2025: Satvik and Chirag in the quarter -finals of Singapore Open, Sindhu and Pranay out

 

Singapore Open 2025 : The Indian men’s doubles team of Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty entered the quarter -finals of the Singapore Open Badminton Tournament on Thursday but former world champion PV Sindhu was eliminated from the tournament with necklace. Sindhu, who won 21-14, 21-9 against Canada’s Wayne You Zheng in the first round, failed to maintain this rhythm in the second round. India also disappointed in men’s singles when HS Prannoy lost 16–21 14-21 against Christo Popov of France in the pre-quarterfinals.

The eighth seeded pair of India’s Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand faced 8-21, 10-21 from the Jiya Fan and Zhang Shu Jian pair in the second round of the women’s doubles. At the same time, the mixed doubles pair of Rohan Kapoor and Rutwika Shivani Gade were also out after losing, who was defeated by Hong Kong’s Tong Chun Mann and Ying Sayet pair 21-10 21-16 in 31 minutes.
