He said that he had an argument with David Warner, after which he also threatened him. Praveen Kumar had said that he told David Warner that he would pick him up and slam him.

During a podcast, Praveen Kumar said, ‘When I used to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner said something to me after which I did not answer him directly. Then when I joined the Gujarat Lions team and our match was held with Sunrisers Hyderabad, the opener was being spoken. I told them that I will pick them up and slam them. Then Dinesh Karthik had come in the middle. Talking about Suresh Raina, he is my brother.
