The final match of IPL 2025 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB won this match by 6 runs. All the players from RCB played a key role in their team’s victory by performing strongly. All the fans were also very happy with their team’s performance. On June 4, the RCB team wanted to parade in front of all the fans. However, when the celebration was going on in Bengaluru, there was a stampede and 11 people lost their lives. Not only this, 56 people were also injured in this incident. After this accident, the Bengaluru Police has registered an FIR against RCB Management and Karnataka Cricket Association (KSCA). Now KSCA has appealed against this FIR in the court.

KSCA reached Karnataka High Court

KSCA officials Raghuram Bhat and some other officials have approached the Karnataka High Court against FIR. He has demanded the court to cancel the FIR registered in the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede case. Let me tell you that the police on Thursday registered an FIR against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Event Management firm DNA Entertainment Private Limited and KSCA. Now the Karnataka State Cricket Association wants the Karnataka High Court to listen to their appeal and dismiss the FIR.

In this case, on Friday 6 June, Bangalore Police has detained four officers of Royal Challengers Bangalore and event management firm DNA Entertainment Private Limited. According to the report, RCB’s marketing and revenue head Nikhil Sosh, Sunil Matthew and Kiran Kumar of DNA Entertainment Private Limited are being questioned.

Do not listen to the police!

According to reports, before the RCB came to the city, the police administration refused to allow the franchise to allow the road show. It is being claimed that despite the police refusal, RCB pressurized it and then a small parade was finally taken out on the government’s order. But in the race to reach the stadium, a crowd of millions had gathered outside, which proved to be impossible for the Bengaluru Police. Due to this, there was a stampede, in which 11 people lost their lives.
