Sri Lanka Cricket Awards : The Sri Lankan Cricket Board rewarded the Stars of the Year in terms of overall performance in international cricket in 2021. Kamindu Mendis and Chamari Atapatu took the spotlight at the annual award ceremony on Monday. Kamindu won the boys’ Cricketer Award in all formats. Chamari Atapatu won the prize of the year cricketer in the women’s category.
Significantly, Atapattu won the 5 prizes alone. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board gave a total of 5 awards in the international division of the girls. Of which only one hand is left out of the chaser. He was selected as one-day batter and all-rounder of the year. Poren Atapattu in the pocket of all three awards in T20 cricket, bowlers and all-rounders. Kabisha Dilhari became the only one-day bowler of the year.

One point Won Hassaranga won three awards in the boys’ category. He was selected as the Twenty-year-old bowler and all-rounder of the year as well as the Twenty-four cricket bowlers of the year. Kamindu Mendis also won the Test batter of the Year award. Johnith Lianag won the emerging cricketer of the year in the boys category.
