In the first semi -final of Madhya Pradesh League 2025, Bhopal Leopards defeated Rewa Jaguars by three wickets. With this, the journey of Rewa, which is at the top of the points table, has ended. Batting first, Rewa scored a score of 176/7, in response to which Bhopal ended the match with seven balls remaining. In this match, Madhav Tripathi and Kamal Tripathi played an important role in Bhopal’s victory.
Batting first, Rewa lost the wicket of captain Himanshu Minister on a score of 32. After this, Prithviraj Tomar and Chanchal Rathore together carried forward the innings and made a big partnership of 81 runs for the second wicket.
Innings of 52 runs in 35 balls
Chanchal was dismissed for 37 runs in 29 balls, while Prithviraj scored 52 runs in 35 balls. The team could not score fast in the last overs. Chasing the target, Bhopal lost the wickets of both the openers on a score of only nine runs. After this, he had high expectations from Aniket Verma but he could score only 12 runs in 13 balls. After falling five wickets on the score of only 69 and six wickets on the score of 89, it was felt that Bhopal has now been out of the match and Rewa has moved towards victory.

Bhopal needed big shots when the need of 61 runs in the final 28 balls. Kamal wrote the script of his team’s easy win, scoring an unbeaten 40 in just 13 balls. Kamal hit five big sixes in his innings and his innings proved to be the biggest difference in this match. At the other end, Madhav remained unbeaten after scoring 65 runs in 31 balls. Apart from four fours, five sixes were also included in his innings.
