Rohit Sharma has made a big disclosure about the match played between India and Pakistan of ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma said that the team was threatened before this match and that is why they were not allowed to go out of their hotel rooms. Rohit revealed that there was a ban on all the players going out and from there the whole atmosphere of the match was created. The hotel was completely packed and the players had to order from their room.

Talking about Geographstar, Rohit Sharma said, ‘We were told to us before the match between India and Pakistan that we have received threats. So two days before the match, we were forbidden to go out of the hotel. No player could go out of the hotel and the atmosphere had changed from there. We were ordering food and the whole hotel was so full that there was no place to walk there. Fans, media were all there. Then you understand that this is not another match, something special is going to happen. As soon as we reached the stadium, Indian fans and Pakistani fans were dancing and all the people were quite happy ‘

Regarding the match against Pakistan, Rohit said, ‘I have participated in many matches of India and Pakistan. I do not even remember count but the energy and feeling before the match is really different. This cannot be compared. In this match, Rishabh Pant scored 42 runs while batting at number three, due to which Pakistan got a target of 120 runs. Rohit praised Pant’s batting and told that these 42 runs were very important for the team.

India won the match

Apart from Rishabh Pant for Team India, Akshar Patel scored 20 runs while captain Rohit Sharma scored 13 runs. Apart from these three players, no other batsman could cross the 10 -run mark. In response, the Pakistan team was able to score 113 runs after losing seven wickets in 20 overs. For India, Jasprit Bumrah bowled deadly and took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs while Hardik Pandya took two wickets. Arshdeep Singh and Akshar Patel took one wicket each. Mohammad Rizwan had scored the highest 31 runs for Pakistan.
