As the new World Test champion, the first day of the South Africa cricket team proved to be a big ups and downs on the ground. On the very first day of the first match of the Test series against Zimbabwe, the World Champion got shocks. But the middle order batsmen did something amazing that the team made a strong comeback. The batsman who played a special role in this, who had rejected Pakistan a few weeks ago and came to India to play IPL. These players are all -rounder Corbin Bosch, who scored his first century in Test cricket.
The first match of the Test series between Zimbabwe and South Africa started in Bulawayo from June 28. Many senior players including South African team captain Temba Bavuma, who won the final of the World Test Championship, are not part of this series. In such a situation, some new and some less experienced players are being given a chance in this series and the result was also seen on the first day. While the top order of South Africa failed badly, two young batsmen making Test debuts gathered with their rapid batting.
A century scored at number 8
While 19 -year -old Luan Driapritorius scored a century in his debut, the 22 -year -old young batsman Dewald Brevis hit a half -century. Both these debutants apparently got more accolades and discussions, but apart from these all -rounder Corbin Bosch also showed their light. Bosch, playing his second Test match, came at number eight and scored a memorable century while batting a rage. Bosch had scored 100 runs in 124 balls by the end of the day’s play and returned unbeaten by taking the team to 418 runs.
The first test of the first test
With this innings, Bosch once again showed that he can do wonders in this format too. Bosch had scored a half -century against Pakistan in his first Test match and was unbeaten by scoring 81 runs. In that match, he missed a century but in the second Test he also completed this stone unturned. Before this innings, the bosch was caught in controversies a few weeks ago, when he suddenly withdrew his name from the Pakistan Super League and he went to play in the IPL instead. After this, PSL also sent a show cause notice to them.
