Team India finally did that amazing, which could not be done even once in the last 58 years. Team India defeated England in a Test match at Edgbaston’s ground under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. Young fast bowler Akash Deep played a big role in this victory of Team India. Akash, who returned to Team India with this Test, created history with 10 wickets in the match. But what Akash revealed after this victory, he called his performance even more special. Akash told that his sister is struggling with cancer and this victory was for him only.
On the last day of the Edgbaston Test on Sunday 6 July, the Indian team piled England for just 271 runs and won the match by a big margin of 336 runs and equaled 1-1 in the series. Akash Deep took 4 wickets on the last day and thus took a total of 6 wickets in the innings. The right -handed fast bowler took 4 wickets in the first innings as well and thus he recorded his name with 10 wickets. He became only the second Indian bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test in England.
