A bad news has come out for the fans of Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf. Major League Cricket (MLC) for San Francisco Unicorn, Rauf, who is performing brilliantly in 2025, has been ruled out of the tournament due to Hamstring Injury. The injury he suffered during a recent match against Texas Super Kings, after which New Zealand fast bowler Ben Lister has been included in the team. This injury not only ended his participation in MLC, but has also questioned his availability in the upcoming Bangladesh T20I series.

31 -year -old Harris Rauf MLC was the most important bowler for San Francisco Unicorn in 2025. He took 17 wickets in eight matches in the tournament, which is the highest wicket from all other bowlers in the league. His economy rate was 9.08, and his fast bowling played an important role in bringing Unicorn to the playoffs. However, he was able to throw only one over in the match against Texas Super Kings, after which he had to leave the ground. Grade 1 hamstring strain was confirmed in the MRI scan, due to which he will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of the tournament.
San Francisco Unicorns issued a statement on social media and gave an update, ‘Harris, we are with you. San Francisco Unicorn’s confirms that Haris Rauf will remain out of the rest of the MLC 2025 season due to Hamstring injury. He will be replaced by New Zealand fast bowler Ben Lister with immediate effect.
