Rishabh pant injury: The injury to Team India’s wicketkeeper and Test vice -captain Rishabh Pant has not been cured yet. The BCCI has given a big update on them which is not news for Indian fans and Team India. The BCCI informed that Rishabh Pant will not land on the second day of Lord’s Test. Actually, Pant has a finger injury and after examining the doctor, he advised him to rest for a day. Meaning Jurael will be seen batting instead of Pant.
Rishabh Pant out of Lord’s Test for one day
When Rishabh Pant landed in Lord’s ground the second day, he tried to play the shot by holding the batch but he felt pain. Seeing this, the question is arising whether Pant will be able to bat. Let me tell you that Pant is currently running in amazing form and in the first Test he scored a century in both innings. Whereas in the second innings of the second Test, a half -century came out of his bat. Now if Pant is unable to bat, then it will be a big shock for Team India. The big thing is that Team India will not get Pant’s replacement player either.
How did Rishabh Pant get hurt?
Rishabh Pant was hurt by Jasprit Bumrah. In an attempt to stop the ball going outside a leg side of Bumrah, the ball got into Pant’s finger. The big thing is that the ball is also in the finger of Pant’s left hand, which is his dominant hand. Now it remains to be seen whether Pant is able to fit or not because if this does not happen, Team India will have to bat with only 10 players. By the way, the good thing is that there is no fracture in Pant’s finger.
