Gautam Gambhir said, ‘Whenever we win the match, it happens in my mind what will be the playing XI in the next match. I never switch off and think about the team. This is really a very funny thing. When we won the last Test match, the first thing that came to my mind was the compensation of Team India in the next match. When I went back to my room, I was thinking how it would work. You have just won a Test match and now you are thinking about winning the next match. When I am in the tour, I am switch on every day.
Gambhir further said about declaring his innings in Edgbaston Test late, ‘You may have your own thinking. I hope that if things are not working like you, then people criticize you. We wanted England to get out of the game and they should be batted in such a way that they have to defend 100 overs.
