Amidst all this, Anaya shared a video on her social media account, in which she made a big disclosure.

Anaya Bangar, who was previously known as Aryan Bangar, revealed in her video that her gender identity discovered started at a very young age. She told that she used to wear her mother’s clothes in childhood. Anaya Bangar said, “When I was 9, I used to go to my room with my mother’s clothes and get ready. I always loved to see myself as a girl in the mirror. I wanted to be a girl.”

Anaya also talked about her relationship with her younger brother Atharva in her video, which is an important part of her life. He said, ‘My younger brother Atharva also knew about it when I was in a phase of change. She is just 16 years old, but one thing that was always associated with me was that she told me whether I can change or not, but we will remain siblings. And it matters to him. This video of him is now becoming very viral on social media.

Anaya’s father Sanjay Bangar has played 12 Tests and 15 ODIs for India and he has also been a former batting coach of the Indian cricket team. Anaya also stepped into cricket by following the footsteps of her father. She has played for Mumbai in Under-16 and has also played for local clubs of Lancasher. Anaya has played cricket with star players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Mushir Khan.
