This decision was taken due to Bashir’s injury, which is out of this series. Bashir’s left finger has a serious fracture, for which he will undergo surgery. He got this injury when Ravindra Jadeja’s sharp shot went on his hand during the Lord’s Test, after which he went out of the ground. However, despite being injured, he played the entire match and also won the team.
