The Indian men’s cricket team met King Charles III of Britain after a 22 -run defeat to England in the Lord’s Test. The meeting took place at the Clarence House Garden at St. James Palace in London. Not only the men’s team but the Indian women’s cricket team also met King Charles III. All the players looked very happy to meet him. During this, the King interacted with the Indian players and also asked him many questions. Not only this, King Charles III also expressed disappointment on the wicket of Mohammad Siraj. The players also got a photoshoot with King Charles III, whose pictures are going viral on social media.

Shubman Gill said after meeting King Charles III, ‘It was really fantastic. King Charles is very kind and we had a very good conversation with him. He also expressed disappointment about the dismissal of Mohammad Siraj. He told that the manner in which Siraj was out was a very bad thing. Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur met King Charles and said, ‘This was really a very good experience. We have come to England many times before, but we met him for the first time. He is a very good person and he also asked about our journey.

The Indian men’s team suffered a defeat against England in the third Test match played at Lord’s. Team India failed to show good performance in this match and that is why England won by 22 runs. With this victory, England took a 2–1 lead in the 5-match Test series. Now the fourth Test match between these two teams is starting from July 23 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
Talking about the Indian women’s cricket team, she won the 5-match T20 series against England 3–2. All the players from India played a key role in their team’s victory by performing strongly. Now the three -match ODI series between these two teams is starting from July 16.
