Middle -order batsman Karun Nair, who played for the last two domestic season Vidarbha, has re -joined his old team Karnataka. He will be seen playing for Karnataka this season. Karun Nair went to Vidarbha after being out of the Karnataka team in 2022 and played from Vidarbha in the domestic season of 2023 and 2024. According to Cricbuzz reports, Karun Nair has decided to return to Karnataka due to personal reasons and the team has re -contracted him. In the report, Karnataka fast bowler Vasuki Kaushik has sought NOC from the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to play for Goa.
Goa Cricket Association (GCA) secretary Shanmbha Desai said that we have signed Kaushik. Now they will be seen playing for our team. Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar from Goa’s team, will also be seen playing.
Karun Nair performance
Karun Nair has recently performed very well in domestic cricket. He scored 863 runs in the Ranji Trophy and then Vijay Hazare scored 779 runs representing Vidarbha. Apart from this, 32 -year -old Vasuki Kaushik has taken 93, 82 and 48 wickets in first class, List A and T20 respectively. Till last season, he was one of the leading fast bowlers of Karnataka.
