The time is not going well for the Indian team’s young all -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. Nitish had to be eliminated from the Test series against England due to injury. Not only this, he has also been imposed a case of fraud. This case has been registered and on 28 July it will be heard in the Delhi High Court. Amidst all these reports, a report is also coming out that he wants to leave his IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, now the Indian player himself has given clarification regarding this. He has given a statement about his relationship with Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Nitish Kumar Reddy posted a post on his official social media account and said, ‘I like to stay away from noise but I want to give clarification about some things. My connection with Sunrisers Hyderabad is made on the basis of trust, honor and shared passion of years. I will always stand with this team.

Let me tell you, Nitish Kumar Reddy was retained in Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 6 crore before the start of IPL 2025. He was the second Indian player with Abhishek Sharma who retained in Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was part of this team for the last 2 seasons and on its own, he also got a chance in Team India. However, the recent report claimed that Nitish was not happy with his role in the team. However, now he himself has made the situation clear about this matter.

In the Indian Premier League 2025, the Sunrisers team’s performance was very poor and won 6 in 14 matches while they had to face defeat in 7 matches. The team was ranked sixth in the points table of IPL 2025. According to the report, Bangalore -based Talent Management firm Square the One has filed a legal case against Nitish. In this, the Indian cricketer has been accused that he has not paid more than Rs 5 crore. This case is in court and its hearing will be held in Delhi High Court on 28 July. Nitish Kumar Reddy is also ready to go to court and he has refused to give money to the agency. He claims that the agency had no role in achieving endorsement deal, he himself achieved it. However, Nitish has not yet given any official statement on this.
Out from the Test series
Nitish Kumar Reddy was included in Team India of the 5 -match Test series against England. However, he was dropped from the Indian cricket team before the fourth Test match due to injury. The young player was not fed in the first Test match. He participated in the second Test in which Reddy scored just two runs, including both the innings and he did not take even a wicket.
The third Test was played at Lord’s in which Nitish took two wickets in the first innings while in the second innings he took one wicket. Talking about batting, he had scored 30 runs in the first innings, while in the second innings, a strong batsman returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs.
