The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that they will never take part in this tournament anytime. He has told his players that now no one will participate in any WCL season.

PCB took a big decision, banned

The Pakistan Cricket Board has taken this decision because India Champions refused to play with Pakistan Champions in this tournament. A match was to be played between these two teams in the first group stage but the players of India did not participate in it. Not only this, he did not play the match against Pakistan even in the semi -finals. PCB has accused the WCL organizers of supporting India, as the India team was given points despite cancellation of the league match. Angered by this, the board of neighboring country has put a blanket ban on the league.

PCB said in its release, Pakistan Cricket Board has put a blanket ban in the WCL tournament and now no player will participate in this tournament in future. Pakistan had to play matches in group stage against India. But the India team which had Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan and Harbhajan Singh refused to play. The reason behind this was ‘Operation Sindoor’ after the attack in Pahalgam, India.

South Africa won the final

In the WCL 2025 final match, Pakistan Champions batted first and scored 195 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Veteran opener Sharjil Khan played an innings of 76 runs while Omar Amin contributed 36 runs not out. Asif Ali scored 28 runs. In response, South Africa Champions won this match by losing one wicket. For South Africa Champions, AB de Villiers played an important role in his team’s victory. This is his third WCL century of this season. JP Duminy contributed 50 not out.
