Team India played the last match of the 5 -match Test series against England at Cannington Oval. In this match, India defeated England by six runs. All the players of India played a key role in their team’s victory by performing strongly in this match. After the end of the fifth Test match, Team India reached England’s dressing room. Team India players went to England’s dressing room and there were a lot of conversation between the players of both the teams. Everyone believed that it was a very good series. England head coach Brandon McCullum said that it has been one of the best series in recent times. As a player we did not understand so much about the match, but when we saw this whole series, we felt that we have achieved a lot.
The first Test match between England and India was played in Leeds. England won this match. India won the second Test match while England won the third match. The fourth Test was drawn between the two teams. Both teams performed a bang in it. India won the fifth Test match. In this match, the bowlers of Team India bowled deadly and destroyed England’s batting lineup completely.
Karun Nair performs in Test series
Karun Nair was given a chance in the first three Tests against England. However, he could not score a big score in the first three Tests. This is the reason why he was dropped out of India’s playing 11 of the fourth Test match. Rishabh Pant was injured in the fourth Test match, due to which Nair returned to the fifth Test and scored 57 runs. Due to his innings, India scored 224 runs while batting first. England collapsed for 247 runs in their first innings. After this, India scored 396 runs in the second innings.
England needed 374 runs to win, but he was able to score only 367 runs. On the last day of the game, England had to score 35 runs and had four wickets left. Siraj played an important role in Team India’s victory while bowling deadly. Siraj took a total of 9 wickets in this match. Now Team India has to play a two -match Test series against the West Indies in October.
