Where every cricketer aspires to play in all three formats for his country. But there is also a player who is not ready for this. These players are Tim David of Australia, who recently played an important role in making Royal Challengers Bangalore the champion of IPL 2025. David, one of the most explosive finishers of the present time in T20 cricket, recently won many matches in this format to Australia but he is not ready to do this work in ODI cricket.

Australia won a strong win in the first match of the T20 series against South Africa, whose hero Tim David was. David played an excellent innings of 83 runs in this match, which included 8 sixes. Earlier, David also had an important role in winning the T20 series against West Indies and Pakistan. Seeing the excellent form, the Australian team also wants to enter them in ODI cricket but this batsman is not ready for it.

The Australian team is currently going through a change in the 50 -over format as players like Steve Smith to Marcus Stoynis and Glenn Maxwell retired from this format. In such a situation, this discussion is going on continuously who will take their place and David is constantly in eye due to strong performance from IPL to T20 International. But these players are not ready for this. After winning the team against South Africa, David said, “This is not a part of my plan. This is a good problem because if I had not been scoring, I would not have asked these questions.”

This is not the first time David has talked like this. A few weeks ago, this 29 -year -old batsman revealed that he is not looking for a return to the ODI team at the moment. David had not completely rejected the possibilities of playing again in this format but said that his focus is on the T20 World Cup because the Australian team has to play a lot of series before that tournament, due to which they do not have time to think about it.

David, who has earned Rs 27.75 crore so far by playing in the IPL, is currently making his splash worldwide in only T20 formats. But at the same time, they are also getting away from ODI cricket. About 2 years ago, in 2023, he made his ODI format debut against South Africa and he also played his last match in the same series. However, he could not give up some special impact and could only score only 45 runs in the ODI career of 4 matches. At the same time, in T20 format, this batsman has scored 1416 runs in 51 innings.
