After becoming the champion of IPL 2025, there was a stampede during the celebration of RCB’s victory in which 11 innocent people lost their lives. The Side-Effect of this accident has to bear the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru because now the women will not be here compared to the World Cup this year. In place of Chinnaswamy, a new venue is now being searched and there are reports that these matches can be shifted in Thiruvananthapuram. India and Sri Lanka are organizing the World Cup starting on 30 September. Apart from this World Cup, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Indore and Colombo will now be in Thiruvananthapuram. However, the name of this city can be announced in 24 to 48 hours.

BCCI deadline ends

The BCCI had given a two -day deadline to the Karnatar State Cricket Association to convince the government to organize the match in Chinnaswamy but it could not happen. Let me tell you that the Chinnaswamy Stadium was initially selected for five matches, which included India’s inaugural match on 30 September. However, everything changed after the terrible incidents on 4 June. The Karnataka government tightened its stand towards cricket matches in the city and now the hosting of these matches has been taken away from Bengaluru.

The final could also be held in Bengaluru but…

It was believed that in Bengaluru itself, the final will be held on November 2 as Pakistan is considered to be less likely to reach the finals. Please tell that Pakistan’s matches are to be played at the neutral site, so Colombo was selected. If Pakistan qualify for the final, the Colombo will host the final, but this is less likely. Well now match transfer is being done from Chinnaswamy Stadium. According to the report of Cricbuzz, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram are being considered as possible options.
