In fact, the Mumbai Cricket Association has also decided to send its emerging team on a tour of England, for which the team has been announced. The MCA has appointed Suryansh Shedge as captain for its emerging team, who will visit England for a month from 28 June 2025. On this tour, the team will play five two-day and four ODIs against different county and local teams of England. The purpose of this tour is to provide international experience to young players and enhance their technical, strategic, and mental skills.
The 16 -member team consists of many promising players, including batting all -rounder Mushir Khan, opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and young spinner Himanshu Singh. Vedanta Murkar has been made the vice -captain with Suryansh Shedge. Many players in the team have already represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy, which makes this tour more important for them. This emerging team from Mumbai will play against strong teams like Nottinghamshar, Warsterusher, Glustersher, and County Challengers Teams.
