The biggest question here is that with which playing eleven will the Indian team take the field? Before the first Test match on this issue, former cricketer Akash Chopra has given a big statement about Team India’s bowling lineup. According to Akash Chopra, Shardul Thakur should give a chance to play at number 8 in the first Test match. He has also told his best playing eleven.

Akash Chopra made a big statement

Akash Chopra has shared a video on his official YouTube channel in which he said, ‘If Karun Nair bats at number 6, Jadeja will be kept at number 7. There should be no debate on whether they should keep it at number 7 or not. He has batted in England at number five and scored runs. You should bat at number 7 only. You can keep Shardul Thakur at number 8 as he also performed amazing in an intra-voice match. If Thakur plays on eight, then he can throw 17 to 18 overs in a day for Team India.

Shardul Thakur scored 122 runs while batting excellent in the intra-voice match. Thakur scored these runs against bowlers like Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, famous Krishna and Arshdeep Singh. The Indian player’s innings started at the last minute of the second day’s game and he completed his century while batting strongly in the third day’s game. The good thing for Team India is that Shardul is in a very good form at the moment and if he gets a chance, he will see batting brilliantly in the Test series against England.

According to Akash Chopra, the possible playing XI of Team India:

Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Sai Sudarshan, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Karun Nair, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, famous Krishna
