Former India player Akash Chopra has chosen the best XI of this tournament after the end of IPL 2025. The most surprising thing is that he has not included Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill and wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul of Delhi Capitals in this XI. Both these players performed well this season, although despite this they have not found a place in playing XI.
Akash Chopra chose team of the tournament
Three RCB players have been included in Akash Chopra’s IPL 2025 team while one is also from Punjab Kings. Akash Chopra has included Virat Kohli and Sai Sudarshan in his team as an opener. Suryakumar Yadav has got a place at number five. Let me tell you, Suryakumar Yadav scored more than 25 runs in every match of IPL 2025. He batted well in every match of Mumbai Indians. The only spinner Akash Chopra has chosen Noor Ahmed. Playing for Chennai Super Kings, Noor Ahmed took 24 wickets in 14 matches this season and finished the second position in the Purple Cap race.

Akash Chopra has also included the famous Krishna in his team, who took 25 wickets in 15 matches and was a Purple Cap winner. The famous Krishna bowled a bang throughout this season. Josh Hazlewood has also been included in the Team of the Tournament. Josh Hazlewood had bowled brilliantly while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore and harassed the batsmen of the opposing team. He took 22 wickets in 12 matches. Akash Chopra has chosen Mitchell Marsh, Hardik Pandya, Naman Dhir and Harpreet Brar of Lucknow Super Giants in the option of four impact players.
