The second place in this list is the great all -rounder Sir Gary Sobers who played 85 consecutive matches for the West Indies. At the same time, the veteran opener Desmond Hens played 72 consecutive matches while Brian Lara took part in 64 consecutive Tests. Recently, Craig Brathwaite set a record of playing 100 Test matches from West Indies. He is the tenth player who has played 100 Test matches for the West Indies. He has scored 5950 runs in 100 Tests at an average of 32.51 and his best score is 212 runs.

He was excluded from the playing XI of the third Test match against Australia because he batted disappointing in the first two Tests. The experienced opener scored just four runs in the first innings of the first Test match, while in the second innings he also contributed four runs. Talking about the second Test, Brathwaite did not even open his account in the first innings, while in the second innings he was able to score only seven runs.

In this Test series, Australia won the first match by 159 runs while in the second Test they won by 133 runs.
