Tom Latham was out of the first Test
New Zealand captain Tom Latham will not play in the first Test match against Zimbabwe due to injury. He got this injury in a T20 blast in England. Tom Latham was participating in this tournament for Birmingham Bears and he was hurt in a shoulder while fielding. The NZC has told in its release that the Tom will remain with the team and it is expected that they will be fully fit before the second Test match starting on August 7. In the first Test, Mitchell will be seen captaining Santner in place of Latham.
