Prior to IPL 2026, reports of trade and change of players are in full swing. The most discussed among them is India’s veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson. According to the recent reports, Sanju Samson is unhappy with the management of Rajasthan Royals and has demanded trade or release. On the other hand, the speculation of Ravichandran Ashwin’s separation from Chennai Super Kings is fast. Meanwhile, Ashwin has responded to these rumors in a funny manner.
What did Ashwin say when CSK left?
Recently, the teaser of YouTube show Kutty Stories with Ash, hosted by Ashwin, has come out. This time Sanju Samson is going to be seen with Ashwin. Talking about rumors in this teaser, he said, ‘I have many questions to ask you. But before that I thought, I should trade myself directly. I am happy to stay in Kerala. There are many rumors going on. I do not know anything myself. So I thought I should ask you. If I can live in Kerala and you can go back to Chennai. Sanju also laughed at Ashwin’s matter, and this fun moment went viral on social media.

According to reports, Sanju Samson is dissatisfied with his future with Rajasthan Royals. Last season, he did not even play much matches due to injury. However, he was retained by the Rajasthan team for Rs 18 crore. On the other hand, Ashwin was bought by CSK for Rs 9.75 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. He took only 7 wickets in 9 matches. Now there are reports that Ashwin can leave CSK and return to Rajasthan Royals, where he had performed brilliantly earlier. Not only this, Ashwin can also leave the role of Director of Operations in CSK Academy.
What is IPL trade window?
IPL trade window means that two franchises can change their players with each other. The IPL trade window always opens to all teams before the auction. The trading window remains open from 7 days after the end of the season to 7 days before the auction. If two players are swapped on different salary, then the team who buy a higher price has to pay the difference.
