India-A lost (photo-BCCI Women’s)
Australia-A’s women’s team defeated India-A by 13 runs in the first match of the three-match T20 series. In the first match played in McKay, Australia scored 137 runs in 20 overs and India A could score 124 runs and it lagged 0–1 in the series. In this match, leg -spinner Prema Rawat bowled amazing but Anika Laroid’s best half -century innings made her hard work useless. Let us know that India A team is on a tour of Australia A and China will be played between T20, three ODIs and an unofficial Test match between the two teams.
Indian bowlers perform well
Talking about the match, Australia A was implicated by Indian bowlers. Opener Tahila Wilson could only score 17 runs. Opener Alyssa Heli started faster but ended her innings on a personal score of 27. Australia A team came under pressure due to two soon wickets falling. However, after this, Anika Laroid scored a half -century in 44 balls and 7 fours came out of 44 balls. For India, leg -spinner Prema Rawat took 3 wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs.
Team India’s batting flop
The target was not big in front of India-A, but its top order was as if it was shattered. Shefali Verma settled only 3 runs in 7 balls. Dhara Gujjar scored just 7 runs in 20 balls. Dinesh Vrinda contributed 5 runs. Wicketkeeper Uma Chhetri scored 31 runs but her strike rate was 100. In the middle order, Raghavi Bisht tried to win the team by scoring 33 in 20 balls and captain Radha Yadav by scoring 26 runs in 22 balls but in the end the attempt proved to be a failure. For Australia, Amy Egar took 2 wickets, Siana Ginger took 2 wickets. Tess Flintoff got one wicket
