According to the report, Cummins can be rested from the 2 important limited over series to be held in October in view of the Ashes. The first T20 series will be played against New Zealand from October 1, after which the ODI series and then T20 series will be played between India and Australia from 21 October.
Ashes will start from November 21
The Ashes between Australia and England will start with the first Test match in Perth from 21 November. The second Test will start from December 4 in Brisbane. In Adelaide, the third from December 17 and then from December 26 in Melbourne will be played in Boxing Day Test. The series will end with a Sydney Test from 4 January 2026. This will be the second series in Australia and England’s current World Test Championship cycle. Australia played their first series against the West Indies, while England had competed with Team India in the first series.
