BCCI domestic season 2025 schedule : The BCCI has announced the next season of domestic cricket. Where there are huge changes in the Ranji Trophy. In addition, the new system is being launched in the Syed Mustak Ali Trophy. A big decision was made at the BCCI’s Apex Council meeting on Saturday.
There were 5 teams in the Ranji Trophy in the 26-5 season. There was also a group of northeastern. Although Ranji played in the Trophy in Meghalaya, seven of the seven matches were lost last season. This time the BCCI is launching the deprivation of Ranji. There are also promotion as well. One team from two plate groups will go down. Similarly, two teams will get promotion from next season.
“Promotion and degradation are being introduced in the multiple -day tournament of the men of the senior and junior divisions,” the board’s directive said. This new format will be launched in all age -based cricket of red balls. The Ranji Trophy will be in two episodes. The first episode will be from October 1 to November 7. The second episode is from January 22 to February 7 and the Knockout Episode 1 to February 25 to February 25.
The season will start with the Dalip Trophy. Which will run from August 25 to September 7. The trophy is returning to the zonal format again. Then the Iranian trophy will run from October 1 to October 1. Syed Mustak Ali Trophy will be in the middle of Ranji’s two episodes. Which will run from November 25 to December 7. This time the trophy is also changing. This time the qualified teams in the knockout will be kept in two separate groups. Four teams of each group will play matches between themselves. The top two teams of each group will play the final. Besides, the net run rate will be seen this time instead of the head -to -head rules.
