A statement in the name of former Team India cricketer R Ashwin is going viral. According to which Ashwin said that the BCCI did not cancel the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup due to more money. Although R Ashwin himself has tweeted that he has not given this statement, it is completely fake. R Ashwin tweeted and wrote- Do not add me to fake news. Shame that is spreading all this.

A fake statement of Ashwin is going viral on social media. In which it is being claimed that Ashwin said- The World Championship of Legends had less money, so it was canceled. India is still playing in the Asia Cup from Pakistan and the BCCI did not cancel it because patriotism decides money. However, now Ashwin has made it clear that he has not given this statement.

India-Pakistan match in Asia Cup
The Asia Cup schedule was announced on 26 July. This tournament will be played in UAE from 9 September to 28 September. The India-Pakistan collision will be on September 14 and despite so many protests, both teams are in the same group. Meaning India-Pakistan collision can be a total of 3 times including the final. India-Pakistan relations have been strong since the Pahalgam terror attack. Since this attack, there has been a demand for full boycott of Pakistan, recently, due to this, India and Pakistan match was canceled in the World Champions of Legends.
