The Indian cricket team and the Board of Control for Cricket in India continuously take some new steps to improve this game at the domestic level. The appointment of professional coaches and trainers from preparing a new infrastructure has also been an important part of it. A few months ago, the board started the new Center of Excellence in Bangalore. Now BCCI has taken out 3 new jobs for this center, which will help in furthering Indian cricket. BCCI has announced a job in the Center of Excellence and a job in the Medical Science Department besides batting and bowling coaches.

The Cricket Board of India announced these 3 vacancies in a press release on Thursday 7 August. The board has taken out this vacancy for batting and bowling coaches, in which the person selected will have to work under the National Coach Education Program of the Board at the Center of Excellence. Where the batting coach will prepare an educational course for participants who participate in this education program in Coe and will also maintain them and also keep an eye on their progress. Similarly, the bowling coach will prepare a bowling education program under this program.

Who can become batting and bowling coaches?

Now the question is who can apply them. This is the most important part because it is completely for former players. BCCI has made it clear that it is mandatory for those who apply for both these roles to be a former first class or international cricketer. Apart from this, it is also necessary to have a certified BCCI Level-2 or Level-3 coach. Apart from these, it is necessary to have 5 years of coaching experience at the state level or elite youth level. Apart from these, it is also important to have knowledge of performance analysis tool.

Apart from these two, BCCI is looking for a qualified candidate to handle the Sports Science and Medicine Department. This is the department that works on very important aspects like players’ injuries, their workload management and rehabilitation. The person selected for this post will lead the team of physiotherapists and trainers in the Center of Excellence and will help prepare programs like keeping the players away from injury, curing them. For this, it is mandatory to have a Masters degree or PhD in Sports Science.
