Team India is reported to leave on 4 September for the Asia Cup. But before that Dhruv Jurail has dengue. Due to dengue, Dhruv Jurael has to be ruled out of the Dalip Trophy tournament. Dhruv was the captain of Jurael Central Zone in the Dalip Trophy. But now after withdrawing from the tournament, he will not be seen playing in the semi -final match starting on 4 September. Dhruv Jurael having dengue is no less than a major shock for the Central Zone in a crucial match like the semi -finals of the Dalip Trophy.

Out of tournament due to dengue

Dhruv Jurlel, however, did not play for the Central Zone in the quarter -finals of the Dalip Trophy earlier. Then Jurael had a groin injury, due to which he kept himself out of the match. Dhruv Jurael has been out of the team after being dengue before the semi -finals of the Dalip Trophy, as well as Akshay Wadkar, who captained Vidarbha in his place, has been included in the Central Zone team.

Jurlel is part of Team India’s reserve in Asia Cup

However, Dhruv Jurlel will not have any significant impact on Team India’s Asia Cup campaign due to dengue. This is because it is not a part of India’s main team in that multinational tournament. Dhruv Jurael was placed in the list of reserve players. India has elected 5 reserve players for the Asia Cup. But none of them will go to UAE with the main team. These players can find a place only when one of the 15 squads selected for the Asia Cup is injured.
