The fourth Test draw played between England and India in Manchester was. In this match, Team India performed tremendously and troubled the England bowlers. For India, captain Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar scored important centuries in the second innings, due to which the match was drawn. After the end of the match, former player Sunil Gavaskar has given a big statement. He has made fun of England team captain Ben Stokes. Apart from Stokes, he has also praised Gill.

Sunil Gavaskar gave a befitting reply

Gavaskar said on the Sony Sports Network, ‘I am very respected which Team India has done. Only four of our wickets fell and we brought England under great pressure. Question should be asked whether England batted a little longer before declaring their innings? When India gave England to chase the target of more than 600 runs in Birmingham, some English players said that India is scared of us and that is why we gave them a target of 600 runs. But I remember that an England player said that if India gives us a target of 600 runs, then we will also get it.

Sunil Gavaskar further said, ‘That is why India did the same and you were left behind by 336 runs. These are just speaking things. Talking about Gill, if he were in a press conference, I would ask him why you took 311 runs? Why were you not happy with a 240 -run lead. When Stokes scored a century, why did he not declare his innings and why did not give another hour to his bowlers. This is SG and the first SG was the second. This SG has given its 100%.

England is ahead despite the draw

Even though there is a manchester test draw, England is ahead of India 2–1 in this Test series. Talking about the fourth Test, while batting first, India scored 358 runs in their first innings, in response to which England scored 669 runs. India scored 425 runs losing four wickets in their second innings, due to which Team India managed to draw the match. Team India batsmen batted amazing. Now the fifth and last Test between these two teams is starting from 31 July at Cannington Oval, London.
