BCCI in action mode after Bengaluru stampede
The incident occurred when millions of fans gathered outside the stadium to see RCB players, especially Virat Kohli and captain Rajat Patidar. In such a situation, Devjit Saikia has described a stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium as an eye -opening for the board and IPL franchises. Along with this, he also gave on how to celebrate the victory of the IPL franchise in future, for no such incident, BCCI will decide on this.
Talking to the Indian Express, Devjit Saikia said, ‘It is going to open eyes and we have to think what we should do in such circumstances. Every year there will be a winner and celebrations will be celebrated in his hometown. Therefore, we have to learn a lesson so that this does not happen in future. At this time, BCCI has no control over private celebrations of a franchise.
The incident told the incident quite unfortunate
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told PTI, ‘This is quite unfortunate. This is a negative aspect of popularity. People are crazy for their cricketers. The organizers should have planned better. My senses towards the families of the deceased. I wish the injured to recover early. To organize this level of victory, enough precautions should have been taken and security measures were to be taken into account. Somewhere there has been a lapse somewhere. After such a spectacular end of the IPL, it dissolved in color. Earlier, the IPL victory has been celebrated as if KKR won last year in Kolkata but nothing happened there. When we won the T20 World Cup, people gathered in Mumbai, but nothing like this happened. The police and the local administration together got it smoothly. Hopefully something is not unpleasant.
