Bengaluru Stampede: High Court bail to Virat Kohli’s close, these 3 accused also bail | RCB stampede case

RCB stampede case : During the Victory Celebration of IPL 2025, an officer of Royal Challengers Bangalore has got bail from the Karnataka High Court in the case of death in a stampede in Bengaluru. Nikhil Sosale, arrested in this case, is the marketing and sales head of RCB and star batsman is close to Virat Kohli. Apart from Sosale, 3 other accused were also released on bail on behalf of the High Court. These people were arrested by the Bengaluru police 2 days after the accident and then they were sent on 14 days judicial custody.

On June 4, a large crowd of RCB fans gathered outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, due to which there was a stampede situation and 11 fans died in the accident, while about 50 fans were injured. In this case, Karnataka Chief Minister M Siddaramaiah had made all the blame on RCB and event management company DNA Entertainment Network and ordered the arrest of his officials. After this, on the morning of June 6, Sosale was arrested from Bangalore Airport, while 3 DNA officials were also arrested by the police.
