This act was taken seriously by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and considered it a violation of Article 2.9 of the ICC code of conduct. Kundai Matigim accepted his mistake
Matigimu admitted his mistake and accepted the proposed punishment by match referee Ranjan Madugalle without any formal hearing. This is his first crime in the last 24 months, due to which he was also given a demerit point. After this incident, no fracture was found in the X-ray of Pritorius. However, he could not field in the next innings, but remained available for batting.
