Butler played a brilliant innings

England captain Harry Brook won the toss in the first T20 match against the West Indies. After this, he decided to bat first. However, his decision was proved wrong for some time when Ben Docket returned to the pavilion in the second over of the innings. After this, Jamie Smith and Jos Buttler took over England’s innings and both added 79 runs in 39 balls for the second wicket.

Butler scored 96 runs in 59 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. However, he could not complete his century by only 4 runs and became a victim of Joseph. Apart from Butler, opener Jamie Smith scored 38 runs in 20 balls. While Jacob Bethel scored 23 runs in 23 balls. In this way, England scored 188 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Romio Shepherd took the most two wickets from the West Indies.
