After this, he will face Pakistan’s team on September 14. At the same time, in the last match of the group stage, he will compete with Oman’s team. This match played between India and Oman is going to be very exciting for Indian fans. In this match, a legendary of India will be seen pushing full force to defeat the match to Team India.
Team India threatens ‘Indian coach’
Actually, Oman’s coaching staff consists of an Indian veteran, whose records are quite strong. The name of this coach is Sulakshan Kulkarni. Sulakshan Kulkarni has a lot of coaching experience, which can prove to be a big threat to Team India in this tournament. Sulakshan Kulkarni was made the assistant coach of the Oman cricket team in July 2025. At the same time, the Maharashtra cricket team also made him head coach for a two -year tenure starting from May 2024.
Sulakshan Kulkarni has also been the head coach of India’s disabled cricket team. He gave the Indian team a historic victory in the Disabled Cricket World Cup in 2019. Not only this, he has also made the Mumbai cricket team the champion of Ranji Trophy. The Mumbai team won the Ranji Trophy in 2012-13 in the coaching of Sulakshan Kulkarni. Apart from this, he has also been a he average coach of the Vidarbha cricket team for the 2 seasons. In 2018, the Nepal cricket team also made him a batting coach for a month.
How will Oman team face India?
Sulakshan Kulkarni has given a big statement on the Indo-Oman match. Talking to PTI, he said, ‘I have been the captain of the RCF Club (National Chemicals and Fertilizers) for 10 years. We were probably in the eighth position in the Times Shield and we did not have any big player. Nevertheless, we used to beat teams like Indian Oil, Air India, Tata, ACC in which star was Indian players. I led a team that would defeat the corporate teams with the presence of top Indian players like Dilip Vengsarkar and Sanjay Manjrekar. So this is my perspective. Despite being one of the weakest teams, we won matches with full hope and positive attitude and I want Oman players to do the same against India and Pakistan.
