The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is one of the world’s richest cricket boards and gives financially good support to its players. According to the BCCI policy, players who do not attend the playing XI of the Test match are also paid 50% of the match fees. For example, if the player gets a fee of Rs 15 lakh for a Test match, then the reserve player is given 7.5 lakh rupees.
Abhimanyu Ishwar is part of the main squad in this series, he will also be paid under this policy. That is, they are getting about 7.5 lakh rupees for every Test match, whether they land on the field or not. Apart from this, BCCI also gives daily allowance to players.
