He has taken wickets in domestic cricket continuously and he must be given a chance. At present, Team India will not play Test cricket and they must be selected in T20 or Asia Cup. He is all the bowler of the format. Their time will definitely come, they just need to be patient.
Mukesh Kumar made his international debut on behalf of Team India in 2023. He played his first Test match against the West Indies. Apart from T20 format, Mukesh Kumar has taken 5 wickets in 6 ODIs for Team India at an average of 43.40, while in three Tests he has 7 wickets at an average of 25.57. Mukesh Kumar played his last match against Zimbabwe on 14 July 2024. Not only this, he took three wickets in an informal Test match playing for India A against England Lions.
First match is to play against UAE
The Asia Cup 2025 Team India has to play their first match against UAE on 10 September. After this, the team will play their second match against Pakistan on 14 September. The Indian team will be seen playing their last league stage match of this tournament on September 19 against Oman. The final match of the tournament will be held in Dubai on 29 September.
