West Delhi Lions won the Delhi Premier League 2025 season title on the basis of captain Nitish Rana’s third consecutive explosive innings in 3 days. In the final, West Delhi defeated Central Delhi Kings by 6 wickets without any special trouble. In the final played on Sunday 31 August, Central Delhi scored a score of 173 runs. This score was achieved by West Delhi in 18 overs and became the second DPL champion. Captain Nitish played another great innings and returned unbeaten after scoring 79 runs.
