Jaiswal moves in second innings
On the last day of the match on Sunday, September 7, the Central Zone finished his first innings with a big score of 600 runs and took a 162 -run lead in the West Zone and secured a place in the final. But still in the second innings, West Zone batsmen were expected to perform some strong performance and young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal definitely contributed some. In such a situation, Iyer landed for batting at number 7. But even on this number, he could not do anything special and returned to the pavilion after scoring only 12 runs in 14 balls. When West Zone scored 216 runs after losing 8 wickets, both teams agreed to finish the match on the draw.
