England Squad for 5th Test: England have announced the team for the last and 5th Tests of the series to be played against India. The special feature of the 15 -member England team selected for the 5th Test is that it has been given a chance to the player who played the only Test of his career 3 years ago. England announced the team for the last Test after the fourth Test played in Manchester. England are currently 2–1 in the 5 Test series against India.

Jamie Overton made his debut for England in 2022. He made his Test debut in Leeds against New Zealand, in which he scored 97 runs in addition to taking 2 wickets. However, after that one Test, Jamie overton again dropped out of England’s Test team. But now after 3 years, he has returned again. And, there is also a possibility that the 5th Test is also being replaced in England’s playing XI.
