Host England, 2–1 in the Test series against India, have announced their playing XI for the fourth Test. The shocking thing is that England revealed the names of 11 players not even 24 hours before the Test match, but 43 hours before the Test match. The fourth match of the Test series is scheduled to begin at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester from 23 July and for this England have made a change in their playing-11. After a long wait of nearly 8 years, spinner Liam Dawson has returned to the team.
England defeated Team India by 22 runs in the Lord’s Test to take a 2–1 lead in the series. In this match, the last wicket for England was taken by spinner Shoaib Bashir. But this wicket of Bashir proved to be his last work in this series because he was out of the series due to a finger injury. England selectors included left -arm spin all -rounder Liam Dawson for the fourth and fifth Tests.
Story of Dawson like Nair
England has made only one change in the playing XI as a dawn. That is, despite the poor form, opener Jack Croly, vice-captain Oli Pope and fast bowler Chris Woakes have been given another chance. As far as Dawson is concerned, the story of this 35-year-old player is also similar to some Indian team batsman Karun Nair.

Like Nair, Dawson also made her debut in the 2016 Indo-England Test series but after 3 matches he was also out. After this, just as Nair returned from this England series, similarly this English spinner has also got a second chance.
