Mustafizur Rahman was the most economical of the lot, conceding only 24 runs in 3 overs, but lacked support from the rest of the attack. The Capitals’ bowling unit struggled to contain Gujarat’s fluid stroke play and disciplined approach.

Delhi’s KL Rahul, despite scoring a century, acknowledged that the Titans were the better side on the day:
“You have to give credit where it’s due. Gujarat outplayed us in every department. Still, we’re in the race and will keep fighting.”
